We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure / System Administrator (Junior/Senior) to manage and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves administering Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtualization, storage and backup systems, and providing end-user technical support. The ideal candidate will handle infrastructure planning, troubleshooting, system optimization, and coordination with internal and external teams, with availability to resolve critical issues when required.
Primary Responsibility:
Develop and maintain an IT skill development and improvement plan.
Perform infrastructure capacity planning to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server, Linux Server, and VMware ESXi environments.
Optimize network hardware and software to support and enhance VMware integration.
Set up and manage Active Directory domains, including domain configuration and user account management.
Handle end-user IT support, including hardware and software troubleshooting, system issues, and user awareness training.
Manage standard IT services such as printer and scanner sharing, driver installations, antivirus deployment, and system standardization.
Design, develop, and deploy customized VMware virtualization solutions.
Define and manage multiple virtual servers on single host machines.
Administer the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and information systems, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Provide operational support for storage and backup systems, including urgent incident resolution when required.
Participate in technical discussions, system planning, and solution design.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors or service providers.
Be available to respond to critical infrastructure issues outside normal business hours when necessary.
Willingness to travel as required.
Job Specification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments.
Hands-on experience with Linux server administration.
Solid knowledge of VMware ESXi and virtualization technologies.
Experience managing storage and backup systems.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent technical issues efficiently.
Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
